If you have an event that requires a large number of mobility vehicles, Scootaround can set up a portable booth right at your location to assist in attracting renters to the service area. If you wish, we can include visible signage that directs customers to the rental area. The Scootaround rentals booth is unobtrusive and offers an effective way to direct customers to the rental area.

Each of our event staff has experience with most types of events, small and large. Our personnel will handle the check out and return of all equipment and be available throughout the day to provide assistance and to handle all inquiries.

The Most Reliable Equipment in the Business
All Scootaround vehicles are in top working condition and offer a safe and convenient mode of transportation for your rental customers. We take pride in assuring that our fleet rentals are well maintained and visually appealing. Scootaround will maintain these vehicles on an ongoing basis and replace/recycle equipment as necessary.

How Does the Onsite Rentals Program Work?

It's a straightforward process that begins with a toll-free call to a Scootaround Conventions expert:

1) Provide us the location and dates of your event.
We will ensure that your scooters are reserved and ready to be delivered for the dates involved.

2) Tell us how many scooters you need.
Let us know how many scooters/wheelchairs you will require. If you are unsure of how many you need for your event, talk with one of our Convention Team experts and they will help you with your equipment estimates.

What we need from you…

We require only a few basic items to ensure the safe and simple setup of your onsite rentals program:

1. A safe and secure location for the onsite scooters. This includes a rentals area where the bookings can be made as well as a storage area for the scooters.
2. Access to electrical power. Whether by fixed outlets or extension cords, you require electrical connections to keep the scooters fully charged for your rental customers. The chargers use standard outlets -- no special voltage is required.

• Scootaround can assist in your pre-convention planning with respect to the special mobility needs of your attendees. Our marketing and conventions staff can provide you with sample inserts and helpful text that you can use in your convention materials.
• The Conventions Team can also provide helpful suggestions to help you finalize the details for your program. Our team will verify that your program contains all of the necessary details to help your attendees make a positive rental decision.

3) Customized rentals web page.

• Scootaround provides you with a customized rentals webpage that allows your attendees to book their scooters online in advance. This page will not only streamline the entire rentals process but also help to showcase your event. The web page will also drive traffic to your event site and ensure that you receive high exposure for your show.
• In addition, Scootaround will provide a reciprocal link to your company or event website to ensure that your attendees have a scooter rental reference anytime they need one.

4) Rentals literature and printable artwork is available.

• If your show has a registration booklet or you would like to customize other materials, we will provide you with the Scootaround logo. It is available as camera-ready artwork or in a variety of digital formats.
• Scootaround also provides brochures to hand out at your event -- especially useful for attendees who have not booked in advance.

5) Toll-Free telephone support.

• Scootaround's friendly operators can answer your mobility product questions via our Toll-Free support line. We want to ensure that you are thouroughly comfortable with our equipment.
• If an issue arises with any piece of equipment, our operators can troubleshoot the problem and get you up and running quickly.
