Mobility
scooter award helps staff overcome limitations
Philadelphia, P.A.
– Scootaround Inc.'s award of
a mobility scooter is already making a difference for
the staff and students of the North American Baptist
Seminary. Scootaround president Lee
Meagher presented the brand new "Revo" scooter
to seminary representative Dr. Gordon Harris at the
recent completion of the ASA-NCOA Joint Conference in
Philadelphia, P.A.
Concerned
that those with mobility limitations have the same educational
and employment opportunities as other students, Dr.
Harris was delighted to be helping others overcome mobility
limitations and said that students and staff with mobility
issues are already using the scooter to assist in getting
to and from classes. "The scooter provides another
service that goes beyond what schools normally consider."
said Dr. Harris.
