can footrests be removed?do you have to put this together?

Yes, the footrests can be removed. They click in, or out. No the chair is delivered fully assembled. You will only need to attach the footrests.

Hi, can the armrests be removed from this wheelchair? Is it possible to return this wheelchair if the user just can't get it to work within the home.

The armrests are permanently attached to the chair. Scootaround does have a 30-day return policy with a 15% re-stocking fee, and return shipping is always the customer's expense.
