What Kind of Powerchairs Does Scootaround Rent for Cruises?

Standard Powerchairs

Powerchairs offer fantastic maneuverability on cruise ships because of their short wheel base. Many of our models can be disassembled for easy transport or storage in your cabin.

You will control your powerchair using a joystick that is located on the armrest. The further away from the center you push the joystick, the faster you will go. Most of our models offer left or right handed controls depending on your preference. The powerchair will break automatically when the joystick is released back to the center position, providing added security for the driver.

Some powerchair models come with a rotating seat, and many have accessories such as adjustable armrests and semi-reclining backs, so you can fit it perfectly to your body. They also come with a footrest that can be folded away when the driver is getting on and off of the chair.

The WHILL Model C2 has a weight capacity of up to 300 lbs. The Model F has a weight capacity up to 250 lbs.
