Disneyland

Disneyland opened in 1955 and was Walt Disney’s dream brought to life under his close supervision. Disneyland has the biggest attendance of any theme park in the world – some 750 million people have visited since it opened. Made up of two parks, Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park, there’s a huge range of attractions, character experiences, thrill-rides, and much more to experience when you visit Disneyland. The trick to getting the most out of your visit as a first timer is doing your research before you go and having a plan of action before stepping foot in the park.

There are many programs in place that help guests with mobility issues to have an amazing experience at Disneyland, and everyone is truly welcome there. Guests with disabilities can get a new Disability Access Service Card that enables you to skip long line-ups for rides within the park. The various accommodations offered at the parks have specially designed accessible rooms, and Disneyland makes it really easy to get around both within the parks and attractions. Scootaround can arrange for you to have a wheelchair or electric scooter rental right there at your resort waiting for you so that you’ll be able to start enjoying the parks as soon as you arrive.
