If you are driving to New York City and have a disability parking permit from another state or country, you do not need to apply for a temporary permit during your stay. New York honors non-expired disability placards and plates from other states and countries. If you require a temporary permit, you may apply at your local agency. Disabled Parking Permits are issued locally, not by the DMV. You’ll also find that valet parking available at most hotels in the city. Disability placards/permits or tags from any state allow you to park in any parking space designated for a disabled person.
A Scootaround representative will contact you within 24 hours to provide you with a rental price quote and book your reservation via the phone number or e-mail address indicated on your request form
