Powerchairs

A powerchair typically has large front wheels and is steered using a joystick that is mounted on one of the chair arms. Sometimes referred to as "electric wheelchairs" or "power wheelchairs", powerchairs are perfect for in-the-home maneuverability and can fit in tight spots where a mobility scooter might have a problem. Most powerchairs allow you to turn on the spot in a complete circle and are predominantly designed for people who need help getting around indoors.
