Disability placards/permits or tags from any state allow you to park in any parking space designated for a disabled person. Those without an existing permit will need to apply for a Temporary Parking Placard for Nonresidents. Once obtained, your temporary placard is good for up to 90 days or until the date indicated by your physician. If you require a temporary permit, you may apply at any California DMV. Visitors will also find valet parking at most hotels and many restaurants throughout the city.
