Rollators for Sale

Rollators are compact and adaptable walking aids that perform well both indoors and outdoors. Also known as “rollator walkers” or “rolling walkers”, these devices have four wheels, with the front two wheels being swivel casters for better maneuverability. This separates them from traditional walkers, which have either no wheels or two static front wheels.

Rollators are designed to be highly portable, and most fold up for easy transportation in the trunk of a vehicle. Unlike walkers, rollators usually come standard with a padded seat, which allows the user to sit and rest when travelling longer distances.

Scootaround sells a number of different rollators, including popular models from brands such as Stander and Drive Medical. If you’re interested in purchasing a rolling walker or want to learn more about the models we carry, call 1-844-664-7467 or email [email protected]. We look forward to speaking with you!

Finding the right rollator walker for your specific needs can be challenging. Will you be using the rollator primarily indoors, outdoors, or both? Does the rollator need to have a seat? Do you have a preferred manufacturer?

  1. What is a rollator?

A rollator is a four-wheeled walking aid that is designed to provide additional support and mobility for users who are still able to walk.

  2. How much does a rollator weigh?

The weight of a rollator varies by design and construction. In general, a standard rollator walker will weigh around 20 pounds, while smaller aluminum or carbon fiber rollators can weigh as little as 12 lbs. On the other hand, a bariatric rollator can weigh up to 25 lbs or more.

  3. How do you adjust a rollator walker?

Most rollators are designed to be adjusted without the use of tools. This includes everything from handle height to back support angle and more. Please check your product’s user manual for specific details.

  4. How to tighten the brakes on a rollator walker?

Over time, the handbrakes on a rollator will begin to loosen and become less effective. When this occurs, it’s important to retighten the brakes so they don’t slip while in use. This can be done either by a professional technician or at home using some basic tools. This video provides a simple overview of how to tighten the handbrakes on a rollator walker.
